Lakeland Hires Business Development Manager to Drive Growth in Western States

Kevin Kidwell brings 25 years’ experience engineering and implementing industrial control systems

Minneapolis, M.N., February 21, 2015 -- The Lakeland Companies today announced the appointment of Kevin Kidwell as Business Development Manager. Kidwell has more than 25 years of experience designing and implementing advanced control systems at industrial and manufacturing facilities.

Kevin joins Lakeland from General Electric, where he was responsible for driving business results from the company’s automation channel partners in the western United States. He is an application field engineer who specializes in building, selling and servicing industrial control system software, OEM automated systems and switchgear. Kevin also holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

“Kevin is uniquely qualified for this position due to his past experience as a technical expert working to improve processes and operations at industrial facilities,” said Mark Spindler, Chief Technology Officer, the Lakeland Companies. “He understands how to strategically address the challenges and opportunities facing our customers and we believe his experience will help us continue to excel in the service we provide.”

Kevin oversees control system sales and installation, product servicing and maintenance for Lakeland customers. He will also play a significant role in the company’s continued expansion across the western states. Kevin is based in Denver, Colorado.
