In October 1994, Minneapolis native Chad Tverberg joined Control Assemblies as a system software specialist, marking the beginning of his successful and continuing 18 years of service to the Lakeland Companies. An electrical engineering graduate of the University of Minnesota, Tverberg’s skill set more than fulfilled Control Assemblies’ need for a project engineer with a focus in software programming. His early experiences included working on hardware and software communications interfaces between unrelated devices, a stark contrast to the plug and play abilities of components today. He gained experience designing control systems, including control panels and programming PLC and SCADA systems, along with project managing and commissioning of such systems.
In his current role as Vice President of Engineering, Chad is entrusted with building relationships with new and existing customers, providing the initial engineering architecture for many of our customers’ system designs, and managing an engineering staff in all levels of ability and experience. Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and twin daughters.
